Here’s the exact process our tech team recommends:

  • Step 1 — Light riding for 5–10 miles Easy throttle. Vary your speeds. Let the belt reach operating temperature gradually.

  • Step 2 — Full cool down Park your machine and let the clutches cool completely. This is called heat cycling, and it’s essential.
  • Step 3 — Repeat once more Two heat cycles = about 10–20 miles total.
    This lets your belt, springs, and internal components settle in for that signature DURACLUTCH smoothness.
If your clutch feels slightly different on day one, that’s normal- break-in is when everything comes together.
